What is an Industrial Designer?
I have always felt the simplest way to explain this question is that the responsibility of the Industrial Designer is to design the visible and visual aspects of products, to provide the link between the consumer, who enjoys the products, and the technology behind the manufacture. The Industrial Designer must consider ergonomics, aesthetics, anthropometrics along with product function or purpose and be sensitive to the needs and wants and desires of the consumer and the producer, bridging the relationship between the two with an effective and efficient design!
